CHOIRS
Cherub Choir
The Cherub Choir is designed for small children (4 years old through 2nd grade). The goal with the Cherubs is to learn how to follow musical direction, when to start and stop singing, to watch the Director so that they will not get nervous singing, and most of all, to have fun singing about Jesus and God, with some fun songs thrown in that help the Cherubs learn rhythm, singing in rounds, playing instruments and having fun singing. Cherub Choir meets from 6:30 to 7:30 on Thurdays evenings from mid-September through April, with part of the time spent playing choir chimes.
Youth Choirs
The Youth Choir consists of young people, 3rd through 12th grade, who enjoy singing. We sing different types of music, with instruments thrown in at times, emphasizing singing in parts, reading music, and having fun singing. The Youth Choir meets from 6:30 to 7:30 on Thursday evenings, from mid-September through April, after members play in the Youth Chime group.
In February, the Youth Choir joined the Cherubs and Children's Choir and provided the music for a vesper service at Southampton Estates. We hope this coming year to again sing for a senior citizen group.
Senior Choir
Senior Choir is open to anyone with an interest in singing. Reading music is not a necessity. We meet Thursday evenings from 8:00 to
9:30 and provide music for both Worship Services.
Brass Group
Anyone who plays a brass instrument is welcome to join. We practice only when necessary to provide music for certain services.
BELL CHOIRS
Cherub Chimes
Cherub Chimes is for children 4 years old through 2nd grade. We learn how to hold the chimes, play and damp chimes and how to play chords to a song. We meet from 6:30 – 7:30 on Thursday evenings from mid-September through April and play once a month.
Youth Chimes
Youth Chimes is for grades 3rd and above. We play more difficult music with more of an emphasis on dynamics. We meet from 6:30 to 7:30 on Thursday evenings, from mid-September through April and play once a month.
Warminster Chimes
The Warminster Chimes are a Handbell Group for Adults that meet the Second and Fourth Sunday at 12:30
Gospbells
The Gospbells are a Handbell Group for Adults that meet the First and Third Sunday at 12:30
